This is something I had worked on for about two months for one of my clients, CRUZ Events.
They are a Malaysia-based event company that caters to both a local and South-East Asian clientele and have been in the business for a very long time.
Of course, with any long-time establishments, comes outdated company profiles that probably worked in the early 2000s, but would require severe updating from time-to-time to remain relevant. They came to me with a need for a full-on revamp for their company profile presentation, as well as to create a ‘press release’ version to send to clients.
I decided to move them out of the heavy Powerpoint presentation format, and turn it into a PDF presentation instead which is much faster and lighter.
THIS IS THEIR COMPANY PROFILE PRESENTATION – BEFORE
After much thought and consideration, I decided to play around with the four colours that makes up CRUZ Events’ DNA and present it in a much more sophisticated format. In the after photos below, you can see that I have implemented their website’s primary font into the presentation (to make it more relevant), given it a cleaner look with color-blocks instead of the childish scribbles, as well as a clearer navigation with project title separators in between to break up similar slides.

As for their press release, I have compressed all the information found on their 28 slides, into just 3 sheets to make it easier for clients to read. I kept the simple design elements of the color-blocks on each page, and mixed their primary text with a more serious serif font for reading ease. The sheets are peppered with visuals and images to make it look less boring – in hopes to excite the client.
